The Indian Navy has released an employment notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (SSR) posts for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 batches. Interested and eligible unmarried male and female candidates are invited to apply online.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (Batch Wise)
- Agniveer 01/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Dec 2004 and 31 May 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer 02/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 May 2005 and 31 Oct 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
2. Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess ANY ONE of the following eligibility criteria:
- Qualified in 10+2 with Mathematics & Physics from a recognized Board with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
- Passed a Three-year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Automobiles/ Computer Science/ Instrumentation Tech/ IT) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks.
- Passed a Two-year Vocational Course with Non-vocational subjects (Physics and Mathematics) from recognized Education Boards with 50% marks.
3. Marital Status
Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible for enrollment. Agniveers are not permitted to marry during their entire four-year tenure.
Selection Process
The selection process for Agniveer (SSR) includes the following two main stages:
An All India computer-based examination used for shortlisting candidates. Vacancies are allocated in a state-wise manner, so cut-off marks will vary from state to state.
Shortlisted candidates will be issued a call-up letter to designated centers for a written examination, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and Recruitment Medical Examination.
