Indian Navy MR Recruitment 2026: Agniveer Online Apply
The Indian Navy has released an official employment notification for the recruitment of Agniveer (MR) posts for the 01/2027 and 02/2027 Batches. Eligible unmarried male and female candidates are invited to apply online to serve the nation under the Agnipath Scheme.
The Agniveers shall be enrolled in the Indian Navy under the Navy Act 1957, for a designated period of four years. Training for selected candidates will be conducted at INS Chilka, Odisha.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit (Batch Wise)
- Agniveer 01/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 Dec 2004 and 31 May 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
- Agniveer 02/2027 Batch: Candidate should be born between 01 May 2005 and 31 Oct 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
2. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the Matriculation Examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board of School Education.
Note: Candidates appearing in the class 10th Board Exam for the academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to apply.
3. Marital Status
Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible. Agniveers are not permitted to marry during their entire four-year tenure. Candidates will be dismissed if found married.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of two major stages:
An All India computer-based examination used for state-wise shortlisting based on cut-off marks.
Shortlisted candidates undergo a second written exam, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and a final Recruitment Medical Examination.
