Eligibility Criteria
1. Who Can Apply? (Compassionate Ground Rules)
Only ONE dependent family member of an Assam Rifles personnel is eligible to apply, provided the personnel was:
- Killed in Action.
- Died while in Service.
- Discharged on Medical Grounds.
- Missing while in Service.
(a) Spouse, OR (b) Son (including adopted son), OR (c) Daughter (including adopted daughter), OR (d) Brother or sister in the case of an unmarried Govt employee who was wholly dependent on them at the time of death in harness or retirement on medical grounds.
2. Age Limit
The age of the candidates should generally be between 18 to 23 years. Detailed age limits and relaxations as per specific trades will be clarified in the full official notification.
3. Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) or 12th class (as applicable for the specific post) from a recognized Board.
- Required knowledge, ITI, or Diploma in respective technical trades (as applicable).
